Chandigarh: A six-year-old boy, Har Udayveer Singh, was shot dead by two bike-borne youths at Kotli Kalan village near Mansa late on Thursday night. His sister was injured in the firing.
Police investigation has revealed that the servant of the deceased’s father had opened fire.
Mansa DSP Sanjeev Goyal said that at around 10 pm on Thursday night, Jaspreet Singh, a resident of Kotli Kalan, was going to his house with his son Har Udayveer Singh (6) and daughter Navsirat Kaur. Suddenly two people came on a bullet motorcycle and opened fire.
Har Udayveer Singh was seriously injured in the firing, he was brought to the General Hospital in Mansa, where a team of doctors declared him dead. At the same time, Navseerat was also injured in this firing. However, her condition is said to be fine at the moment.
