Police arrested Amritpal’s bodyguard Varinder Singh Fauji

Chandigarh: Amritsar Rural police have arrested another associate of Amritpal Singh. He has been identified as Varinder Singh alias Fauji, a resident of Tarn Taran. Police have sent him to Dibrugarh jail in Assam.

The Fauji, a retired army officer, was Amritpal’s bodyguard. He had an arms licence issued from Jammu and Kashmir, which was cancelled after the Ajnala clash on February 23. He was among the 10 gunmen who lived with Amritpal all the time.
