‘I apologised to Sonia Gandhi, won’t contest president’s election’: Gehlot

New Delhi: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot today said he has apologised to party president Sonia Gandhi for the incident in which a legislature party meeting could not be held in Jaipur and he will no longer contest for the post of party president. After meeting Sonia Gandhi at her residence at 10 Janpath, Gehlot also said that the chief minister’s post will now be decided by Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
