4th Test, Day 3: Shubman Gill hits T20I hundred, registers highest score by an Indian

New Delhi: The fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. On the third day of the match, Indian opener Shubman Gill has scored a brilliant century.

In this match, Gill has made a world record and has become the highest run-scorer in Test cricket against Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc without getting out. He surpassed former Pakistan captain Younis Khan in this case.

Team India’s third wicket fell in the form of Shubman Gill. He scored 128 runs in 235 balls. Gill hit 12 fours and a six.

Earlier, Younis Khan scored 112 runs without getting out against Mitchell Starc, now Gill has made this record.

Gill has scored the second century of his Test career. Earlier, he scored his first Test century while playing against Bangladesh in December 2022. Then he scored 110 runs with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes.

This year has been great for Gill so far. In 2023, runs have come out of his bat in all three formats. He has scored centuries in Tests, ODIs and T20 Internationals this year. Recently, in the ODI match played against New Zealand, Gill scored a double century . He scored 208 runs with the help of 19 fours and 9 sixes.
