Washington: The US government has imposed a $1.4 million fine on Air India for delay in refunding tickets to passengers affected by flight cancellations or changes in their timings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The US Department of Transportation said Air India is one of the six airlines that have been directed to refund a total of $ 600 million to passengers. Air India has also been asked to return $ 121.5 million.
