Ukraine: Eight killed in Russian firing

Kiev: At least eight civilians have been killed in a gunfight by Russia in Ukraine during the last 24 hours. Another 25 were also injured in the attacks. Ukrainian officials said Russian forces had targeted several cities and villages in the southeast of the country. Pro-Russian separatists have claimed that four civilians have been killed in attacks by the Ukrainian military. The President’s Office of Ukraine said most of the deaths have occurred in Doonesque province.

Donessc governor Pavlo Kirilenko said people had been killed in different cities. He informed that people still living in the area are being appealed to leave their homes. With the departure of the people, the Ukrainian army will be able to counter Russia in a much better way.
