London: The British police has initiated an investigation into possible Covid-19 lockdown violation at Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Downing Street office and residence, the media reports said.
As per the information, opposition is facing flack over the incident and opposition clamouring him to resign.
Boris is now fighting for his political career after reports that he and his staff, his now wife Carrie had attended a surprise party of up to 30 people for his birthday at the heart of the British government in breach of Covid-19 rules even his government had banned indoor parties.
Meanwhile, Johnson’s office denied the allegations and termed it a brief gathering by a group of staff to wish happy birthday to the PM.
