Sidhu Moosewala’s parents sit on protest outside Punjab Vidhan Sabha

Chandigarh: Late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala’s father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and mother Charan Kaur sat on a dharna outside the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on Tuesday morning seeking justice for their son’s gruesome murder.

Chamkaur Singh Sidhu, uncle of the Punjabi singer, told this reporter that his family has been receiving constant death threats, but the Mansa police, including the Punjab government, are not doing anything in this regard.

Earlier, father Balkaur Singh Sidhu and mother Charan Kaur went to Chandigarh and sat on a dharna outside the ongoing session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha for justice for their son. They are demanding justice. Sidhu Moosewala’s family has already announced that his death anniversary will be held on March 19 at Mansa, during which the bugle of struggle will be sounded by taking the people along for the fight for justice.

The family said they were not satisfied with the action taken by the police so far. Witnesses are being eliminated.

Meanwhile, Balkaur Singh Sidhu has announced that he will not get up from the dharna till the time Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann does not come and assure for justice.

He said that even though those who fired at Sidhu Moosewala have been caught, the real culprit and mastermind for the murder are still giving threats sitting outside.
