Tokyo: Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was shot during a speech at an election campaign event in the western part of the country today.
The seriously injured Abe was taken to the hospital but at that time he was not breathing and his heart rate was also blocked.
Abe suffered a heart attack after being shot and was taken to the provincial hospital. The police have arrested Mashsuk from the spot in Nara.
Meanwhile, he is stated to be critical.
