New Delhi: Delhi’s air quality dropped to ‘poor’ category from ‘very poor’ category on Sunday as stubble burning cases in Punjab declined on Saturday.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, Delhi’s air quality index was recorded at 295 at 9 am.
Farm fires in Punjab dropped from 3,916 on Friday to 2,467 on Saturday, according to data from the Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Stubble burning took place at a record level in Punjab on Friday.
