Jerusalem: At least seven people were killed in a shooting outside a synagogue in Israel-linked East Jerusalem, police said. Police and medical workers said the gunman also died at the scene.
“At around 8:30 pm today, a terrorist arrived at a synagogue in Neve Yakov Boulevard in Jerusalem and opened fire on several people in the area,” a police statement said.
Police forces immediately rushed to the spot and killed the terrorist after an encounter.”
A police spokesman said that seven people were killed.
