Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun leaves Mumbai to play for Goa

Mumbai: Arjun Tendulkar, son of Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, has left Mumbai. Now he will be seen playing cricket for Goa in the new domestic season.

Arjun has taken this decision after getting fewer opportunities from Mumbai. He has also applied for a No Objection Certificate (NoC) from the Mumbai Cricket Association.

Left-arm pacer Arjun Tendulkar last got a chance to play two T20is in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January. After this, he could not get a place in Mumbai’s playing XI. He was included in Mumbai’s squad for the group stage in the Ranji Trophy 2022 but did not get a chance to take the field here. After this, he was also dropped from the team in the knock-out stage of the Ranji Trophy.

Sachin Tendulkar’s sports management company ‘SRT’ has said in this case, ‘It is necessary for Arjun to play as many matches as possible at the moment. We hope that this shifting will give them a chance to play as many matches as possible. He is going into a new phase of his cricket career.
