Chandigarh: Clarifying his recent statement of not letting “UP, Bihar de bhaiye” enter the state, Chief Minister Charanjit Channi today clarified that the comments were aimed only at Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who was attempting to rule the state through backdoor.
Channi said that his statement has been misconstrued by opposition in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi at Ropar, which received huge criticism from various sectors.
Channi said that his remakes were an attack against Kejriwal. AAP is campaign aggressively in the state and is in neck to neck competition with Congress.
Two days back, Channi, in presence of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, said that Bhaiyas from UP ans Bihar will not be allowed to enter Punjab.
