Bogotá (Colombia): Star Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu could not be at her best due to a wrist injury but still managed to win a silver medal by lifting a total of 200 kg at the World Championships here.
Chanu, a Tokyo Olympics silver medallist, lifted 87kg in snatch and 113kg in clean and jerk in the 49kg category on Tuesday night. China’s Jiang Huihua won the gold medal by lifting a total of 206 kg.
