New Delhi: The CBI on Sunday arrested Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia for failing to cooperate during questioning in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.

Now Sisodia has approached the Supreme Court to protest against his arrest on Tuesday.

His lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi requested the Chief Justice to hear the matter at the earliest. To which the CJI said that he should go to the High Court or adopt other legal options. However, on the request of lawyer Singhvi, the Chief Justice said that the hearing will be held after a while.
