Washington: Congressman Rich McCormick said the House that Indian-Americans make up one per cent of the US population but pay about six per cent of the tax.
He said that this ethnic community does not create problems but follows the laws.
In his first and brief address to the US House of Representatives, 54-year-old Rich McCormick said one in five doctors in his community are from India. He described The Indian-Americans as great patriots, good citizens and good friends.
