India records 2,47,417 fresh Covid cases in the last 24 hours

New Delhi: The country has recorded fresh 2,47,417 new coronavirus infections in the past 24 hours.

This figure is highest rise in a single day in this ongoing wave, so far, which took the total tally of coronavirus to 3,63,17,927.

According to the Union Health Ministry data updated today the daily positivity rate has been recorded at 13.11% rise from 11.5% yesterday.

Meanwhile, India also reported 380 new deaths, which took total tally to 11,17,531.
