Jammu: Amarnath Yatra from Jammu has been suspended temporarily due to inclement weather and no new batches are being allowed to proceed to the base camps of the 3,880-metre high cave shrine in south Kashmir Himalayas.
Meanwhile, the devotees who arrived here for the yatra have started returning home. At least 16 people were killed and around 40 are missing due to flood caused by a cloudburst near the cave shrine on Friday afternoon.
