New Delhi: In an exponential rise in the Covid-19 cases, the country has reported a total of 1,59,632 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, the health ministry said.
Following this, covid cases has rose to 3,55,28,004 in India, which included 3,623 cases of Omicron variant.
Maharashtra registered 41,434 new Covid cases followed by Delhi 20,181 fresh Covid cases, the highest single-day rise since May last year.
