New Delhi: Argentina has become the champion by defeating France in the FIFA World Cup 2022 final on Sunday night. Argentina captain and star footballer Lionel Messi performed amazingly in the final match. Now after his team’s historic victory, Messi has shared some photos with an emotional note on his Instagram account.
He wrote, “I dreamed of it many times, I wanted it so much that I never fell. I can’t believe it. A big thank you to my family, to all those who supported me and also to all those who believed in us.”
He said, “We demonstrate once again that Argentina, when we fight together and unite, we are able to achieve what we are willing to do. This is the achievement of this group which is above any individual. This was our strength that we fought for the same dream, that was argentina’s dream. We did it.”
Meanwhile, Argentina defeated France 4-3 in penalty shootout in the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022.
