Chandigarh: The Punjab and Haryana High Court has granted permanent bail application in a major relief to arrested and sacked Punjab Health Minister Vijay Kumar Singla in a corruption case today.
He has been lodged in jail for the past several days. The former health minister is accused of allotting tenders by taking money from contractors.
A case under various sections of the Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against him at the Mohali police station in this regard.
