Chandigarh: A new CCTV footage of Amritpal Singh, a pro-Khalistan activist and ‘Waris Punjab De’ chief, has surfaced. This shows that he is running away by changing his look. After Mercedes and Brezza car, he is now seen on a bike and wearing a pink turban.
The police had launched an operation on March 18 to arrest Amritpal. The police are constantly trying to catch him. The police have so far arrested more than 150 people associated with Amritpal’s organization Waris Punjab De.
On Tuesday, a team of Punjab Intelligence also reached Amritpal’s house. Action is being taken against Amritpal under the National Security Act. Amritpal’s uncle Harjeet Singh and the driver surrendered to the police on Sunday and Monday.
