Dera Sacha Sauda terms Sacrilege cases Congress’ conspiracy; seeks fresh probe from AAP

Chandigarh: Dera Sacha Sauda followers on Thursday rejected allegations of sacrilege cases against Dera Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim and his followers and termed it a conspiracy by previous Congress government in Punjab.

Addressing a press conference, Dera Sacha Sauda spokespersons Jatinder Khurana sought a fresh high level inquiry from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief minister Bhagwant Mann and said that Dera followers can even think of committing such a dastardly crime.

“Punjab police were acting on the tunes of Congress leaders and framed Dera Sacha Sauda chief and followers in sacrilege case even they are innocent,” he said adding Mahendrapal Bittu, who was arrested in the case, was grilled by CBI team but they also gave him and others a clean chit, which indicates that Punjab police deliberately framed Dera people.

He, meanwhile, urged AAP government to conduct a fresh inquiry to ascertain the real truth in Sacrilege cases.
