Delhi Kanjhawala accident: Post-mortem did not confirm rape! Police await FSL report

New Delhi: In a big development, the Delhi Police said that there was no injury marks found on the private part of 20-year-old killed in Kanjhawala accident in the post-mortem report. Rape has not been confirmed in the case. However, the police are still waiting for the post-mortem report. The report will be received by the police shortly, officials said.

The post-mortem was conducted in the mortuary of Maulana Azad Medical College on January 2. The post-mortem was conducted through a medical board. The girl’s family had alleged that she was raped before the accident.

After this, the National Commission for Women also wrote a letter to the Delhi Police demanding an inquiry into whether the victim was sexually assaulted or not.

At present, the post-mortem report report that has come out is a preliminary report. However, the entire post-mortem report will be submitted to the Delhi Police shortly. The girl’s jeans and swab have been kept safe as the girl’s funeral is to be held shortly from now.

Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora has reached the Ministry of Home Affairs, where he will meet Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla. Earlier, the Ministry of Home Affairs had sought a report from the Delhi Police in the Kanjhawala case.
