Covid-19 cases on rise again; 7,946 new cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi: There is still concern about Covid-19 infection in India. Today, once again new cases of corona have increased in the country. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, 7,946 new cases of covid-19 have been reported in the country during the last 24 hours. These cases are more than on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, 7,231 new cases of corona were registered in the country. During this period 45 patients infected with corona had died.

There has been a further decrease in the active cases of corona in the country. The active cases of Corona have now come down to 62,748. Earlier on Wednesday, active cases were 64,667.

 

37 patients died in last 24 hours

During the last 24 hours 37 patients have lost their lives in the country. So far 5 lakh 27 thousand 911 people have died due to corona infection in the country. During the last 24 hours, 9,828 patients have also been cured. The recovery raid has increased to 98.67 percent. At the same time, the daily positivity rate is 2.98 percent. A decline of 1,919 cases has been registered in active cases.

 

Corona figures are scary in Delhi too

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 88 crore 61 lakh 47 thousand 613 samples have been tested for COVID-19 till August 31. Out of these, 2 lakh 66 thousand 477 samples were tested on Wednesday. At the same time, the vaccination campaign is also going on at a fast pace. On the other hand, 377 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Delhi on Wednesday and two people died.
