Congress holds ‘Satyagraha’ in Delhi against Agnipath Scheme

New Delhi: Ever since the Indian government launched the Agnipath scheme, protests against it have been going on across the country.

The country is witnessing violent protests, while opposition is also launching fierce attack on the BJP led Union government. Today, the Congress has protested against the scheme at Jantar Mantar by doing ‘Satyagrah’. Many congress politicians have joined this protest called by senior Congress leadership.

The Congress says that the party has decided to hold satyagraha because the Agneepath scheme has taken the youth of the country on the streets. The party said that this is a responsibility of Congress party to stand with these youths.
