New Delhi: Reacting on the Union Budget 2022-23, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the budget focused to deliver basic amenities to poor, middle class and the youth of the country.
Modi, while addressing BJP cadre on Aatmanirbhar Arthvyavastha, said that post-covid has started to emerge and it is time for India to become self-reliant.
“People want to see an empowered and strong India globally. It is imperative for us now to tak country forward and strengthen it across all sectors,” PM added.
Meanwhile, indicating growth under BJP-led central government tenure, Modi said investment was only Rs1.87 lakh crore in 2013-14, public but this year’s budget have Rs 7.5 lakh crore, which is a four-fold increase from the UPA years.
