Indian-origin man convicted of killing three boys in US

New York: An Indian-origin man has been convicted of killing three boys in the US state of California. According to media reports, the boys used to do mischief by ringing the doorbell of his house.

Anurag Chandra, a resident of Riverside County, was found guilty on Friday of attempted murder and the murder of three boys, the New York Post reported.

Chandra is likely to be sentenced to life imprisonment on July 14 and there is a possibility that he may never get parole, the paper said.

The incident took place on January 19, 2020, when some boys had rung the bell of Chandra’s house in a fit of rage. Chandra said a boy had teased her before running away with a bell ringing. He had killed all three 16-year-old boys by ramming them under a vehicle.
