Chandigarh: Two intruders were killed by the BSF along the Indo-Pak international border in Punjab. In the first incident, a Pakistani intruder was shot dead by the BSF in Gurdaspur sector. The infiltration bid was detected around 8 am and the intruder is believed to have been armed, the officials said.
The second incident of infiltration took place near River Mansoor village in Amritsar. The spokesman said the troops warned the intruder but he did not stop and continued to move forward. On this, bsf personnel opened fire, due to which he died on the spot. A state-of-the-art ‘pump action’ shotgun has been recovered from the intruder.
