Chandigarh: Today is the fifth day of the second phase of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. The yatra started this morning from Shahpur in Ambala. Rahul Gandhi is walking with Congress workers in dense fog. From Jandli bridge, the yatra will enter Ambala city and reach Saini Bhawan at 10 am via Model Town, Polytechnic Chowk and Kalka Chowk. There will be a tea break of travel here.

Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter Punjab from Haryana from Shambhu border around 3.30 pm today. The second phase of the yatra in Haryana began from Panipat on January 6.

After that, Rahul Gandhi reached Ambala via Karnal and Kurukshetra. Addressing a press conference in Ambala on Monday, Rahul Gandhi had said that we are ascetics. Pandavas were also ascetics. Rahul had targeted the RSS without naming it.

It was said that they wear 21st century Kaurava khaki half paint. And 2-3 richest billionaires of India stand with the Kauravas. A delegation of several farmer leaders, including Bharatiya Kisan Union national spokesperson Rakesh Tikait, met Rahul Gandhi on Monday.

Pertinently, when the Bharat Jodo Yatra passed from UP, Tikait was invited to join the yatra. But Tikait had refused to join the yatra.

When Tikait was asked about the yatra, he said that he has not come to participate in the yatra. But they are not stopping anyone from participating in the journey. Any BKU worker who wants to participate in the yatra is completely free.
