Mumbai: Akshay Kumar’s most awaited film of the year Samrat Prithviraj has been released in theatres on Friday. According to reports, the film has not got a good start as expected.
According to the initial figures, the film has been able to do a business of only Rs 10 to 11 crore on the first day. The film has received mixed response from critics.
Talking about Emperor Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar said that it adds to my love for India, enables me to tell a story that is rooted in the history and folklore of India and is also a film for every audience. “As an actor, I like to tell stories that can reach everyone.”
