AAP government in Punjab spends Rs 38 crore on advertisement in 60 days

Chandigarh: Congress has termed Aam Aadmi Party as a “PR” firm posing a political party for allegedly spending public money for their promotion in the media.

Congress MLA and former minister Pargat Singh said that AAP had spent Rs 38 crore in oast 60 days for advertisements.

He said, “AAP is a PR company posing as a political party.RTI has revealed that @BhagwantMann Govt has given 38 crore of public money in 60 days to media in & outside Punjab. Ads were given even to @republic & Sudarshan News.”

He wrote in a tweet that notable advt spendings include those on @BhagwantMann’s oath taking (5.70 crore),anti corruption No(14.50 crore) & 30 day steps(3.67 crore).AAP party is using money of Punjab’s taxpayers for its electoral gain in states outside Punjab.This is betrayal of Punjab and its people.
