2 Sikhs shot dead in Pakistan’s Peshawar

Karachi: Two Sikhs were shot dead in Peshawar, Pakistan. The two were sitting inside their shop located at Bada Bazaar at the time of the incident.

Deceased had been running a shop in Peshawar for a long time. The deceased identified as Kuljit Singh (42) and Ranjit Singh (38). The two bike borne accused opened fire, killing them on the spot.

The killers are yet to be identified. Police have sent the bodies to hospital for postmortem.

SGPC president Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami strongly condemned the incident and wrote in his Twitter account that the governments of both India and Pakistan should ensure the protection of the life and property of the minority community living there.

He said that such incidents have taken place in the past and governments should take it on priority basis.
