New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmakers to precisely focus on eliminating malnutrition and promoting sports in their respective constituencies.
He also asked governments to spread maximum awareness about the ‘golden card’ under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
“PM Modi stressed that lawmakers must take the issue of malnutrition and ensure implementation of social schemes on the ground,” a senior party leader, aware of the details,said.
“In the wake of India’s performance in the Tokyo Olympic Games, It is the need of the hour to encourage the youngsters to take up spots. Members of parliaments should ensure that there is provision for teaching games from the gram panchayat level upwards,” PM Modi told workers, said the person quoted above.
PM also directs his party colleagues to focus on the implementation of Ayushman Bharat and ensuring that cashless treatment facilities reach the beneficiaries.
