This a rise of 18% from yesterday’s case count.
India has reported 8,961 cases of the Omicron variant of the virus so far.
The country recorded 441 deaths in last 24 hours.
Over 18.69 lakh tests were conducted in the past 24 hours and over 2 lakh more than yesterday.
