World Cup: Cameroon knocked out despite beating Brazil

Lussel (Qatar): Vincent Abubakar scored in the second minute of second-half injury time as Cameroon beat Brazil 1-0. Brazil lost for the first time in the group stage of the World Cup in 24 years. Despite this, five-time champions Brazil reached the knockout stage by topping Group G.

Abubakar scored with a header past Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson and then took off his T-shirt in celebration. The Cameroon captain threw his shirt near the corner flag, after which the referee showed him a yellow card.
