Woman allegedly killed husband and mother-in-law with lover, hid body parts in fridge: Police

New Delhi: After the murder of Shraddha Wallkar and Nikki in Delhi, a case of murder and hiding the body in the fridge has also come to light from Assam.

According to police, a woman here allegedly killed her husband and mother-in-law and hid their bodies in the fridge. This case is from Nunmati area of Assam.

Police identified the accused woman as Vandana Kalita. Initial investigation by the police revealed that Vandana was in a relationship with someone since her marriage. Police investigation revealed that three days after killing both of them, Vandana cut the body into pieces with the help of her lover and threw some pieces in Cherrapunji, Meghalaya.

After learning about the incident, Vandana took the Assam Police team to the spot in Cherrapunji where she along with her lover had thrown some pieces of the bodies of her husband and mother-in-law, the police official said.

During interrogation, Vandana said that she kept some pieces of both the bodies in the fridge for several days.
