New Delhi: As many as 357 accused have been arrested till 7 am today in view of the protests in Uttar Pradesh since June 10.
As many as 97 accused have been arrested from Prayagraj, 85 from Saharanpur, 55 from Hathras, 40 from Moradabad, 20 from Firozabad, 41 from Ambedkar Nagar. This was confirmed by ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar.
Meanwhile, UP government has deployed over 150 companies of Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) and another 20 companies of Rapid Action Force (RAF) in the sensitive areas across the state.
