Chandigarh: The Punjab-UT Employees and Pensioners Sanjha Front has started a mega rally in Sangrur, the hometown of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, today. Thousands of employees and pensioners from all over Punjab have come to the rally.
The leaders said that unlike other governments, the present government is not listening to the demands of employees and pensioners.
The Aam Aadmi Party has not fulfilled the promises made to the employees of Punjab during the elections, but the government is taking pro-corporate decisions.
The leaders said that their demand is that all the contractual employees should be regularized and full salaries should be given, including honorarium and many other allowances.
