‘They can kill me too’, former CM Channi attacks AAP government

Chandigarh: Former Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi has been summoned by the state vigilance team to appear on Friday in the disproportionate assets case, to which Channi has now responded.

Lashing out at Punjab government, Channi said, “The vigilance team was supposed to call me on the 20th, but they have called me today when all offices are closed. It is just to harass me, I will go there alone, even if you sit and beat me. They may even kill me one day.”

Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi accused the Bhagwant Mann government of speaking the truth in the press conference and the government was shocked and he was summoned by the vigilance today.

He is ready to bear the atrocities of the government. Channi said that the Punjab government has started a new culture, leave the old wife and bring a new one.

“How can a poor child’s remain chief minister for three months? Channi said his relatives were being asked to join the Aam Aadmi Party. I am being served notices every day,” he said.
