Six female teachers arrested for sexually abusing students in US

Washington: Six female teachers have been arrested in the US for allegedly forcing students to have sexual relations with them within two days, according to a media report. On receiving this complaint, the police have taken action against the female teachers.

According to the information, 38-year-old Ellen Shell of Danville has been accused of third-degree rape. According to a criminal complaint filed in the case, Shell is accused of “having sex with two 16-year-old boys three times”. Danville appeared in Garrard County District Court on Thursday.

According to WTKR, Shell worked as a teacher’s aide at Woodlawn Elementary School and prior to that at Lancaster Elementary School. The news portal reported that the Boyle County School teacher has been sent on administrative leave after serious allegations were made against her.

Six cases of female teachers arrested for sexual misconduct have come to light in the US in recent days. Heather Hare, 32, an Arkansas teacher, is accused of felony and child sexual abuse. Emily Hancock, 26, of Oklahoma, was also arrested on Thursday after local police received information about her alleged relationship with a student, the New York Post reported.

According to COCO, a substitute teacher in Lincoln County has been charged with an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student. The substitute teacher, Emma Delaney Hancock, worked at Wellston Public School and the relationship took place inside the school building, court documents said. They also communicated on Snapchat.

According to the New York Post, Kristen Gantt, 36, an English teacher at a Catholic high school in Des Moines, Iowa, was added to the tally on Friday, who allegedly had sex with a teenage student five times inside and outside her school.

Alih Kherdamand, a 33-year-old teacher at James Madison High School, was also accused of sexually assaulting a student over the course of several months, according to FFXNow.

A Pennsylvania javelin coach was arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old boy she coached. The New York Post reported that 26-year-old Hannah Marth was arrested after police learned she was involved in a sexual relationship with a Northampton Area High School track and field athlete.
