‘Situation in Punjab is Fine, There’s No Conflict’,: Jathedar’s message on Baisakhi

Chandigarh: Jathedar Takht Damdama Sahib and Acting Jathedar Akal Takht Giani Harpreet Singh, in his address to the nation from the premises of Takht Damdama Sahib after the morning diwans on the occasion of Baisakhi Jod Mela, said that earlier welcome banners and langars were set up for the devotees who reached the Baisakhi Jor Melas, but this time the sangats who reached the Jor Mela were searched. However, the nation deserves to be congratulated that Damdama Sahib is being worshiped in large numbers. He said stones were being pelted in the calm waters of Punjab. He said that situation in Punjab is fine and there’s no conflict but the government wants to create tension for their vested interests.
