Singer Mankirat Aulakh says his life is in danger, police launch investigating

Chandigarh: After the Sidhu Moosewala’s murder, now the life of Punjabi singer Mankirat Aulakh is in danger. A recce of Mankirat Aulakh is being done and the police have launched an investigation into the matter.

According to the police, three bike-borne youths chased Aulakh’s vehicle for about two kilometres, but when he reached a safe place, Aulakh’s security personnel got down from the car and chased them.

A CCTV video of the entire incident has also surfaced. On the complaint of Mankirat Aulakh, the police are now investigating. The police have started an investigation on the basis of CCTV.

The police had arrested four activists of the Bambiha gang a few days ago. These accused had revealed during interrogation that they wanted to avenge the death of Sidhu Moosewala by killing singers Babbu Mann and Mankirat Aulakh as they had received an order from a gangster sitting in Canada.

Questions were also raised on Mankirat over Moosewala’s murder after a 7-year-old post of Mankirat went viral in which he had described gangster Lawrence Bishnoi as his friend. A few days ago, he was stopped from going abroad at the airport.

After the complaint of Mankirat Aulakh, the investigation has been launched. It is said that Aulakh was going home from Chandigarh at around 1.45 am on Wednesday. It was then that the security personnel came to know that someone was chasing their car. They followed the car for a long time.

After this, when Mankirat Aulakh’s vehicle entered the society, the miscreants escaped on a motorcycle as they found out that Aulakh’s personal security guard became suspicious. The youth chasing the car have been caught on CCTV. The police are now looking for them on the basis of their appearance.
