Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra was making adult films in 5-star hotels, Mumbai Police files chargesheet

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra’s troubles set to intensify as Maharashtra’s cyber police has filed a chargesheet against him in the court.

Raj is accused of creating pornography content in deluxe hotels in connivance with some people, who were distributed on OTT platforms to earn money.

According to the cyber police chargesheet filed in a court, Raj Kundra had shot videos in five-star hotels with Sherlyn Chopra, Poonam Pandey, filmmaker Mita Jhunjhunwala and cameraman Raju Dubey.

In 2021, the Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch filed its separate chargesheet in April. This was followed by another supplementary chargesheet filed in September, which came to light after a raid on the Madh Island bungalow in February 2021.

In 2019, the cyber police had registered a case, claiming that Raj Kundra, director of Armsprime Media Limited, was involved in making and distributing pornographic videos.

The 450-page chargesheet names Suvajit Chaudhary of ‘Banana Prime OTT’, Raj Kundra and his staff member Umesh Kamat, among others, for making and uploading a web series ‘Prem Paglani’ containing content on OTT.

Apart from this, Poonam Pandey is also accused of developing her own mobile app ‘The Poonam Pandey’ and shooting the video with the help of Raj Kundra’s company and then uploading and circulating it.

According to the cyber police, cameraman Raju Dubey had also shot videos of Sherlyn Chopra, while Jhunjhunwala is accused of assisting in writing and directing scripts for Sherlyn.
