Scoot Airlines apologises to 32 passengers who missed flight at Amritsar airport

Amritsar: An apology has been issued to 32 passengers who were released by Scoot Airlines at Amritsar airport in Punjab. Not only this, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also sought a report in this matter and the inquiry has also been started into the matter.

On January 18, a Scoot flight left for Singapore, leaving 32 passengers at Amritsar airport. According to airport director VK Seth, the flight was earlier scheduled at 8 pm, but it was rescheduled. The flight took off at 3:55 pm, about 4 hours ahead of time. The airlines had sent e-mails to passengers, but all 32 passengers of one agent remained.

263 passengers had taken off from Amritsar airport that afternoon, but 32 passengers were left to go to Singapore. At night, passengers started creating ruckus at Amritsar airport. After the ruckus, the passengers went back and complained to the Civil Aviation.

Scoot Airlines has apologized for the incident at Amritsar airport after the ruckus. Airline spokesperson said that they apologize for the inconvenience caused to the people. The problem of passengers is being resolved.

DGCA seeks report

The DGCA has sought a report on the matter following the incident. DGCA officials say that strict action will be taken against whoever is found guilty in the inquiry.
