Amritsar: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday paid obeisance at the Golden Temple here.
Gandhi is in the state to address his virtual rally in Jalandhar to kick off campaign for the Punjab Assembly polls.
Along with Gandhi, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi, PCC chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and all candidates visited the Golden temple and Durgaina Temple and the Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal here.
The Congress so far has announced 109 candidates out of 117 seats for the Punjab Assembly polls.
Gandhi will address the virtual rally at Jalandhar’s Mithapur around 4pm.
