Jalandhar: Popular Punjabi singer on Friday posted a photo with Liberal Party’s candidate Guneet Grewal and called Grewal her “better half’ in the post.
Liberal Party has nominated Grewal as their candidate from Mission-Matsqui-Fraser Canyon, a federal electoral district located in Fraser Valley of British Columbia.
Following this, Verma while posting a photo with Grewal, wrote, “So proud of my better half !!Congratulations, Guneet, on winning the @liberalca nomination! I’m looking forward to you becoming the next Member of Parliament For Mission-Matsqui-Fraser-Canyon in #Canada. I’m with you all the way. You Got this, babe,” he wrote alongside a photo of the two of them. Following this, his post flooded with congratulatory messages.
Earlier, the Liberal Party tweeted, “Liberals in Mission–Matsqui–Fraser Canyon have nominated Guneet Grewal as our Team Trudeau candidate. Congratulations, Guneet!.”
