PM Modi wears cap from Uttarakhand, Manipuri stole on Republic Day

New Delhi: As India celebrates its 73rd Republic Day on Wednesday as part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav commemorating 75 years of independence, Prime Minister Modi yet again makes a statement by wearing a dress or accessories from different states.

Modi like each year wears special clothes on important occasions like Republic Day, Independence Day and other occasions. Today, he was spotted wearing a unique cap from the hill state of Uttarakhand and a ‘Brahmakamal’, which is the state flower of Uttarakhand as he arrived to pay homage to the Indian soldiers at the National War Memorial.

Both Manipur and Uttarakhand are going to the polls in a few weeks.
