PM Modi flagged off Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat train, traveled with people

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train on the second day of his Gujarat tour today.

During this, echoes of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ were heard at the station. PM Modi not only inaugurated the train at Gandhinagar Capital Railway Station but also traveled in it. This Vande Bharat train will travel from Gandhinagar in Gujarat to Mumbai.

The PMO said that the railway family, women entrepreneurs, youth and travelers from different areas were involved in this journey with PM Modi. With this, the country got the third Vande Bharat train. Earlier two other Vande Bharat trains have been run between New Delhi-Varanasi and New Delhi-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.

What is the speciality of this Vande Bharat train?

The biggest feature of this train is that it has been made in India, through which people can reach Mumbai from Gandhinagar in 5 hours 25 minutes. Fully equipped with ‘Kavach’ technology, this Vande Bharat Express has the capability to hit 2 trains. Made of stainless steel, this express is the most awaited newly built semi-high speed train, weighing 392 tonnes.
