Parkash Badal’s grandson campaigning for him in Lambi

Chandigarh: Anantveer Singh, son of Former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal and SAD chief Sukhbir Badal, is canvassing for his grandfather and former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal in Lambi constituency.

The 94-year-old and five time MLA is India’s oldest electoral candidate, contesting elections. He was recently shifted from PGI to home after his health deteriorates.

Anantveer is now visiting door-to-door in the Badal’s constituency as he is not well.

He attended election rallies of the Youth Akali Dal in villages Badal, Bidowali, Mann and Khiowali. Ananthveer, a second year student of bachelor’s degree in economics and finance at Ashoka University, Delhi, was away from political speeches at an election rally. He will exercise the democratic right to vote for the first time on February 20.
